I improved my hemoglobin A1c by cutting out the juice I was drinking. I really like orange juice and tart cherry juice. And was drinking some all afternoon and evening. And my A1c went from 5.9 down to 5.6 I think that significant at least I hope so.
I can’t remember the last time I had a soft drink. I don’t add sugar to my coffee, fruit juice is a rare treat. Stopped eating sugary yogurts and switched to whole fat Greek plain. When I realized how much sugar was in my favorite Clif bar I stopped eating the bars. It’s always been a work in progress.
