As the tagline says, this blog is part food memoir, part family recipes, and an instruction manual for the next generation.  A lifetime of home cooked meals demands to be documented, archived and preserved for your family and friends.  I have dozens of cookbooks.  There are yellowed scraps of newspaper clipped from over 40 years of cooking that are reasonably organized yet still largely inaccessible.  How do you make…and where is the recipe…and my, how the original never seems to be quite the way you make it now.

So here are recipes from family feasts, preserved in the cloud, for all to enjoy.

Welcome to the past, the present, and the future.
